Delete your account

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This page explains how to delete your patient account in the PractiGo app or in a clinic's own app built on PractiGo, and (at the end) a PractiGo Business account.

Option 1: in the app (immediate)

  1. Open the app and sign in.
  2. Go to the Profile tab.
  3. Tap Delete account and confirm twice.

The deletion happens right away. An account belongs to one clinic, so if you use the PractiGo app with more than one clinic, repeat this for each clinic.

Option 2: by email

If you can't sign in, email support@practigo.in from the email address on your account, or include the mobile number you sign in with, and tell us the clinic name. We may send a one-time code to that number or email to confirm the request is yours. We complete the deletion within 30 days.

What is deleted

  • Your name, mobile number, email address and password on that account.
  • All your sign-in sessions, on every device.
  • Your chat messages with the clinic's booking assistant.
  • Your upcoming appointments are cancelled, and the clinic is notified.

What is kept, and why

Records of past visits (consultation notes, prescriptions, bills, receipts and payments) are your clinic's medical and financial records. The clinic may be legally required to keep them, commonly for at least 3 years for medical records and longer for tax records. They are kept without your contact details. To ask the clinic to erase them, contact the clinic directly.

See the Privacy Policy for more.

PractiGo Business (clinic owners, doctors and staff)

A clinic's administrator can remove a staff or doctor account from the clinic at any time in the dashboard. To delete your own staff account, or to close your clinic's whole PractiGo account, email support@practigo.in from the email address on the account and tell us the clinic name. We may send a one-time code to confirm the request is yours, and we complete it within 30 days.

Deleting a staff account removes that person's name, contact details, password and sign-in sessions. Closing a clinic's account deletes the clinic's data after a short period for the clinic to export it, except subscription invoices and payment records that tax law requires us to keep.
